The Role
Snark Park is seeking a Supervisor to support the Operations Manager leading the F&B and Retail component of Snark Park. The Supervisor should have a strong background in leading an operations team and a passion for creating unparalleled guest experiences through high quality customer service. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for ice cream and an eye for design and can craft a shopping experience that integrates those worlds.

Responsibilities:

Operations
Oversee and supervise the front of house ice cream/retail part time staff
Manage schedules including time off, call outs, and shift coverage
Hire and build a strong team + drive a culture of high performance + engagement
Ability to motivate staff and maintain an open, professional communication with all staff members
Train all new staff + on-going training as new products are delivered, and initiatives change
Conduct inventory counts and ensure all procedures, policies and shortage awareness is maintained
Ability to crowd control and choreograph an optimal guest flow
High knowledge of POS systems
Ability to maintain and execute store merchandising standards
Ability to maintain store readiness and housekeeping duties
Ability to prepare weekly reports as needed

Customer Service
Deliver the highest quality product to visitors and maintain the highest brand standards of our partners
High level of customer engagement and must be able to resolve guest issues and concerns with a professional demeanor
Create an environment that drives repeat visitation

Sales
Ability to drive business via an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to implement sales incentive program and teach staff how to upsell
Support team with sales goals

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Minimum 2-3 years of hospitality/retail management experience
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Computer skills including word and excel
Knowledge of Department of Health guidelines and standards
Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet hospitality standards
Must possess excellent communication and written skills
Food Handler s Certificate is a plus
This is a Wednesday Sunday position

Experience:

Customer Service: Minimum 2 Year (Preferred)
Retail Experience: Minimum 2 Year (Preferred)
Managerial Experience: Minimum 1 Year (Preferred)
