We're seeking a creative, hands on Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Lincoln Ristorante, our fine dining Italian restaurant at Lincoln Center.

Oversee the daily production of the pastry and or dessert program at their venue.
Assist in recipe development, portion specifications, and establish standard preparation procedures for all assigned dishes.
Be willing to gain knowledge of and maintain company invoice tracking, labor tracking, schedule preparation, food cost management, labor cost management, inventory control and hiring/counseling/termination policies.
Lead and cook/bake/create by example.
Work cohesively with co-workers as a part of a team or with minimal supervision and complete all necessary kitchen and administrative tasks.
Regularly inspect units to observe quality of food preparation and service, food appearance, cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment, and employee appearance.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a restaurant with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume.
Culinary Degree preferred.
Servsafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification required.
Possess strong communication skills to engage, educate and uphold utmost hospitality towards customers and fellow employees.
