This is a second shift opportunity and the Production Supervisor will supervise all production areas at the facility and will be in charge of the preparation, scheduling and development of 60+ employees during the 2nd shift production team. Key Responsibilities: Acknowledge and take steps to clear up operating problems in order to minimize their impact on the operations. Responsible for ingredient usage and all other department costs. Bolster suggestions from employees which will improve production, quality, safety and/or control costs of production. Keep Operations Manager informed on operating and/or employee problems, quality, safety and/or control costs of production. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to Management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Job Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business preferred. 2+ year s supervisory experience. Cooked product experience a plus. Able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Capability to respond to questions from internal/external customers/vendors at all levels including management. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a diversity of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
