Our newly created Leadership Development Operations Manager is an important part of our success.

As a member of the WLP leadership team, this position will play a critical role in ensuring the enterprise Leadership Development Program designs and delivers customer-driven training and services toleaders to increase the pipeline of effective leaders across the enterprise.

  • Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of core training curricula that includes evidence based training programs and collateral (i.e. web-based courses, instructor led training, job-aids, videos, etc) for delivery in a classroom, web-based, mobile devices, and/or blended learning environment
  • Ensuring quality assurance practices for Leadership Development Team facilitators and related learning to ensure a quality experience and learning that leads to change
  • Ensuring evaluation and assessment of program effectiveness andongoing improvements meet customers' needs and maintaining relevant leadership development consistent with the enterprise model
  • Creating and setting clear objectives and measuring success
  • Leading the Leadership Development facilitators to achieve the objectives for learning solutions based on customer needs
  • Working with the Leadership Development Manager and other partners in the design and success of a scalable leadership development program
  • Facilitating leadership development experiences
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, organization design/development, communications and learning technology, education, human resources, public administration, or closely related field **
  • Three (3) years leading or facilitating teams of skilled professionals in achieving specified goals and objectives with demonstrated ability to track and report on progress, achievements and challenges using design strategies and analysis to ensure program or project success
  • Three (3) years of experience designing and implementing practices that lead to sound program operations
  • Five (5) years of leadership experience (you may not have "leader, manager, or supervisor" in your title, but this is different than supervisory experience. It is focused on leading teams where you may not have had positional authority but engaged and inspired a team to reach a common objective)
  • Two (2) years facilitating learning and development for adults in an organization or consulting firm
  • Demonstrated ability facilitating problem solving in diverse situations with influential customers for successful outcomes
  • Commitment to implementation and integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices to facilitate a respectful and inclusive work environment and training that reinforces this environment

  • ** Experience and certifications in the above areas can substitute year for year for education. Experience must be consecutive to other requirements.

  • Experience leading and engaging individuals and teams through developing and implementing sound practices that lead to sound program operations
  • Solid foundation and knowledge of Adult Learning & Development principles
  • Experience developing curriculum that advances leadership, supervisory, and manager skills
  • ATD (ASTD) eLearning Instructional Design Certification
  • Experience applying learning methodologies and ADDIE/SAM instructional design
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engaging learning experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to provide learning experiences that are measurable for knowledge and behavior change
  • Experience developing and applying technology and assessment to measure effectiveness of services and products
  • Experience developing or implementing quality assurance for program effectiveness
