Job Description - KYC QC Team Leader (90243218)Job Description KYC QC Team Leader - 90243218Primary Location:US-New Jersey-WhippanyJob Type:Permanent/RegularPosting Range:13 Nov 2019 - OngoingDescription QC Team Leader – Wholesale Onboarding AVPWhippany, NJThe CIB Operations team provide a trusted and resilient transaction processing capability to the Barclays International franchise, and are the primary provider of Group Wide shared services for Payments, Sanctions, AML and Onboarding/KYC, all underpinned by a robust and reliable control environment.  These shared services provide:•A utility service providing financial crime services; primarily payment and client screening, anti-money laundering/transaction monitoring and court orders activity•A utility service providing payments processing, monitoring, analysis and investigation services across the Barclays group•Due diligence for new-to-bank entities, in order to ensure that Barclays complies with anti-money laundering regulationsWhat will you be doing?•You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Client Rigour in the proactive review, continual assessment of and overall coordinator for the Rigour frame work within the Wholesale – Onboarding/KYC/Fulfillment/Financial Crime Operations estate  •You will provide dedicated focus and standardization in reducing risk which includes but not limited to: achieving MCA mature / satisfaction ratings, building our risk and assurance brand and stakeholder relationships, embedding a culture of ‘No Surprises’, developing risk and assurance talent & engagement •You will ensure work is processed in compliance with all Regulatory obligations in the execution of Customer Due Diligence checks undertaken as part of the Know Your Customer process.•You will lead a team of analysts focusing on operating and maintaining the rigour framework across TC1 Operations, inclusive of AML & non AML requirements•You will work across the organization to ensure that processes, controls and teams adapt effectively to reflect the evolving regulatory framework and compliance appetite•You will support the delivery of change to ensure a consistent approach and appropriate controls are maintained•You will partner with other Barclays Corporate teams (the Relationship team, the Client Servicing Team, the Credit teams & the AML Team) – as well as our wider business functions (the Investment Bank, Barclays Wealth, and the Corporate Bank – both in the UK and internationally) – to deliver a ‘One Barclays’ client experienceWhat we’re looking for:•1-2 Years in a check and challenge testing function.•1-2 Years with experience in the Anti Money Laundering and suitability regulatory space.Skills that will help you in the role:•Check & Challenge/assurance experience•Good level of knowledge of Operational control requirements  •Experience of working with key stakeholder e.g. Financial Crime and Relationship Teams •Decision making and solution delivery•Financial Services experience•Team management experience in an Operations functionWhere will you be working?At Barclays, we are proud to be redefining the future of finance and here at Whippany we are defining the future of the workplace and the future of the way we work and live.
