The Chief Security Office (CSO) works in partnership with the business to ensure our customers can trust Barclays to protect their sensitive information, and that the security of our critical infrastructure, staff, and assets is maintained. CSO is a global team, with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. This role sits within CSO's Intelligence team, covering Geopolitical and Physical Security. This team is dedicated to providing decision makers with timely, accurate and actionable information about geopolitical developments and physical threats to the bank. It works with partners around the world in law enforcement, government and industry to support effective protection for the bank's people, clients, assets, systems, and premises. What will you be doing? oProduce high quality analysis and assessment of terrorist, criminal and protest/civil activism threats to Barclays in the Americas to support decision making on protection of the bank's people, premises and assets, and to support provision of geopolitical analysis. oDevelop and maintain an awareness of any new or evolving threats in other regions of the world in order to support a follow-the-sun model of operations. oCreate and maintain a sustainable network of appropriate and reliable sources of information which add insight and value to publicly available information on security threats. oTo ensure familiarity with the changing footprint of the bank and trends in executive travel. oAble to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels across intelligence and other CSO functions and to develop effective networks across the wider bank. What we're looking for: oBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of working experience. o3+ years working experience in intelligence analysis within government, law enforcement, or the private sector. o3+years of writing structured analysis to assess sources of threats. Skills that will help you in the role: oVisual Basic experience. oExperience working within a matrix management structure. oExperience with data-driven intelligence and the integration of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques. oFamiliarity with major security trends and threat vectors. oComfortable with collecting and working with structured data to derive intelligence insights.Salary Range: NAMinimum QualificationLess than 5 years
